Sabine Parish landfill land purchase nears completion; bids for liner project set for November

Speakers noted the gas-collection partner will not have compression online for about 18 months, an item participants said they must account for while conserving collected gas.
The committee did not execute final purchase documents during the session; members asked staff to finish closing steps, place permanent survey markers, and return with formal recommendations and procurement quotes for construction and liner work.
