Erlanger proclaims Lloyd Memorial Marching Band Day, spotlights Putt Putt and swears in four firefighters

Mayor Jessica Fetti presented a proclamation commending Lloyd Memorial High School Marching Band for its competitive season and declared Dec. 4, 2024, to be Lloyd High School Marching Band Day in Erlanger. The proclamation, read into the record, listed competitive results and distinguished ratings at regional and state competitions. Band representatives accepted the proclamation and expressed gratitude to the mayor and council.
The council then ran a business spotlight video recognizing Putt Putt (Erlanger Putt Putt) and invited owner Kevin Shea to speak. Shea described Putt Putt as a family business in Erlanger since 1967 (he has owned it since 2011), highlighted multi‑generational customers and thanked the city for promotional support: "This is my happy place," he said.
Mayor Fetti administered oaths of office to four new fire and EMS members, who pledged to serve the city and uphold state and federal constitutions. The mayor congratulated the new members and thanked staff and council for their support.
These items were presented for recognition and required no further council action.
