District will bus testers home and provide live virtual instruction for non‑testing secondary students

For students not taking tests on those days, buildings will provide virtual live instruction using district‑issued laptops; teachers will take attendance based on login.
Sibley said the approach mirrors a model the district used successfully last spring: "Attendance for the virtual classes... was actually better than we had experienced years prior when students were coming into the buildings," he said. He added the Teachers Association has been consulted and is supportive of using virtual live instruction on specified secondary testing days, and that state pupil accounting rules allow this instructional model when documentation is submitted to the state.
