Residents raise animal-shelter strain, pickleball noise, traffic and backyard-chicken requests during public comment

"We were waiting for the rec master plan to be delivered... After that happens, we should see some action," he said.
Blake Hayes reported a school-zone traffic complaint that the police chief will investigate and emphasized the importance of evidence-based follow-up.
Brianna Karedes urged changes to Peachtree City's animal/ordinance rules to allow backyard chickens to support animal-assisted therapy for her son, offering to provide medical recommendations from his doctors.
Council did not take immediate formal policy action on these items during the meeting; staff and council members noted where the Transportation Advisory Group or staff follow-up was appropriate for safety and ordinance review.
