Court approves reassignment of older county iPad for court use; discusses community banners and a transfer

The Carlisle County fiscal court approved reassigning an older county iPad to a court employee to help streamline clerical work and minimize trips to the courthouse. Speaker 3 explained that new iPads obtained via grant for EMS are in service, and requested that an older device be given to an office employee (Holly) with an expected service cost of about $39 per month. A motion to approve the reassignment was moved, seconded and passed by voice vote.
Separately, Speaker 1 updated the court on county-branded banners for an upcoming agricultural FFA event. The delivered banner package included roughly 280 banners for participants but contained approximately seven or eight misprints; the court decided to hang the delivered banners and have the vendor reprint the misprinted items.
The court also approved a financial transfer after a motion and second, and then proceeded to consider bills for payment.
