The Carlisle County Fiscal Court on a routine agenda vote approved previous minutes, new account codes for FY24–25 requested by reviewers, revenue and expense accounts for the park and waterline projects, and several cash transfers. The court also accepted the clerk’s and the treasurer’s monthly reports.
Treasurer (first speaking at SEG 070) reported positive collections and cash flow for the month and said the county brought in about $24,300 more than it expended in the reporting period. The court approved a motion to accept the treasurer’s report by voice vote. The treasurer also noted the county negotiated a money‑market yield of about 4.0804%.
Court members approved account code updates the court said were requested by DOJ to incorporate project accounts for the park and the waterline. Officials said they have opened the accounts and are moving the budget lines into the proper codes. The court approved revenue and expense accounts for the park waterline and park projects and passed the associated transfers to place funds in the appropriate accounts.
The court took the actions by voice motions and carried the votes; there were no detailed roll‑call tallies recorded in the transcript. The court also acknowledged receipt of the clerk’s report and approved it by motion.
What’s next: officials said they will continue normal budget work and are preparing to disburse funds as project bids and invoices arrive.
