Commissioners asked whether federal Land and Water Conservation staff could allow funds to be used for playground equipment instead and agreed to pursue engineering designs and public outreach to shape future grant use.
The court directed staff to schedule town-hall meetings so the public can weigh in on park design and potential uses for available funds.
