The court noted the standard annual requirement to bring the budget forward for a formal second reading and vote.
The court completed the vote by voice and recorded the motion as carried; staff said the budget paperwork would be published and the second reading would be reflected in the next posted minutes.
Looking ahead, commissioners said they will continue to vet specific capital projects through public meetings and follow up with state agencies where required.
