Springfield board approves capital contracts, asbestos work and new service agreements; votes unanimous

Capital and facilities actions. The board approved Change Order No. 7 from Ford Brothers Electrical for $15,543 to address additional cabling and device replacement related to the ET Richardson Middle School HVAC project; the work will be funded from capital projects bond proceeds.
The board also approved architectural services from Blackney Hayes Architects not to exceed $18,180 to prepare plans and specifications for replacing asbestos floor tile at ET Richardson Middle School, similarly funded from bond proceeds.
