At its Sept. 19 meeting the Glynn County Board of Commissioners handled routine and procedural business before moving to substantive items.
The board moved and approved the consent agenda for general business and the finance committee, with standard opportunity for commissioners to pull items for separate discussion. The board had earlier moved to defer Item 19 (issuance of a purchase order to Weatherproofing Technologies Inc. for library gravel roof restoration, $308,926.78) to the Oct. 3 meeting.
Commissioner Rufalski moved to add Item 29 to the published agenda (to consider terminating Ajax Building Company’s contract for the Juvenile Justice Center); the motion was seconded and approved. No members of the public signed up for public comment, and the county attorney said there was no reason for executive session.
A motion to adjourn was made and seconded; the board voted and the meeting was adjourned.
