Glynn County assessors weigh live streaming and a single online agenda to improve transparency

On agenda presentation, the chair said staff has encountered software limitations that make spreadsheet displays difficult to follow. He recommended consolidating agenda items, minutes and related spreadsheets into a single online document so remote viewers can follow along with the materials and reduce the need for in-room visual aids.
"That would eliminate the need for any visual aids on the screens that we have here," the chair said, adding staff will continue to work on a more presentable, easily understandable format within software constraints.
No formal vote was taken on live streaming or agenda-format changes; the board asked staff to continue exploring options and gather input from other counties and the county commission.
