The Glynn County Mainland Planning Commission on Nov. 12 approved a site plan (SP-24-28) for a 10-unit, one-bedroom apartment building in the Town Square development.
Planning manager Stephanie Leaf told the commission the parcel meets density limits (rounded to 10 units) and requires 20 parking spaces; the applicant proposed 24. The building will be two stories with five units on each level, according to the applicant’s representative, Wesley Franks of Robert Civil Engineering.
No public speakers came forward during the public-hearing period. Commissioner motion and seconds were called; the commission voted 5-0 to approve the site plan as presented. The applicant said a building-permit package had been submitted and, if approved by the county through the usual permitting channels, construction could proceed on the revised two-story design.
