Planning and Zoning Director Stephanie Lee told the commission she had worked with both commissioners for the majority of her career at Glynn County and praised their willingness to be independent voices. "I just really appreciate working with them over the years," Lee said, noting both began service in early 2017 and that their contributions had been valued by staff.
Chair Rossari led a formal presentation of an appreciation item and thanked the commissioners for their service. Departing members and colleagues offered brief reflections on public participation and their time on the Islands Planning Commission; one departing commissioner joked, "you guys forgot the cake and the ice cream." The commission closed its business and moved to adjourn shortly thereafter.
