BRUNSWICK, Ga. — At its Dec. 19 meeting the Glynn County Board of Assessors approved several routine items and set its first meeting of 2025 for Jan. 16.
The board voted to approve the minutes of the Nov. 14, 2024 meeting by voice vote. Later in the meeting it approved the 2025 prebuilt mobile home digest so the tax commissioner’s office can begin billing. “We have a motion to approve the prebuilt mobile home digest,” a board member said; the board then approved the measure by voice vote.
The board also approved state-supplied public utility assessment notices; staff noted the county does not process appeals for those notices because appeals are handled at the state level. Finally, the board approved the consent agenda covering real and personal property corrections.
No roll-call tallies were recorded in the transcript; the board declared votes by voice and proceeded with scheduled business. Staff and members agreed to post meeting materials online and work with IT to ensure agendas and packets are available on the county website by the Jan. 16 meeting.
