At its Feb. 4 meeting, the Tom Green County Commissioners Court approved a multi‑item consent agenda and several individual financial actions.
The consent agenda included approval of prior meeting minutes, treasurer claims totaling $868,104.64, purchase orders listed at $178,122.47, and monthly reports including justice of the peace collections and district clerk reports. A motion to approve the consent agenda was moved, seconded and carried by voice vote.
On budget matters, the court approved FY25 line‑item transfers and amendments, including a $16,457 transfer for detention center kitchen repairs to capitalized equipment for a planetary mixer and other item reallocations. A motion to approve the transfers was moved, seconded and carried by voice vote.
Sheriff Hanna explained the county's portion of the 2025 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant interlocal award from the city of San Angelo, described as $6,907; the funds were presented for purchase of three radar units. The court accepted the interlocal grant and approved the budget by voice vote.
Separately, the court approved issuing a purchase order to San Angelo Body Shop for $1,404.37 to pay for vehicle repairs after a maintenance/installation issue left lug nuts improperly installed. Officials indicated the shop and county had differing assumptions about a prior purchase order; the county approved payment to cover repairs.
All recorded motions on these financial items were carried by voice vote; the transcript does not show roll‑call tallies.
