A police representative introduced and formally swore in four new Parlier police officers at the Nov. 7 council meeting, bringing the department’s active roster to 18 officers, the representative said.
The representative provided brief biographical details for each officer. George Ubedietta was described as a 15‑year law‑enforcement veteran with experience as a field-training officer and gang liaison; Daisy Toscano was noted as a 2021 academy graduate with prior experience at Table Mountain Casino; Jesus Corona was introduced as a recruit with prior agency experience; and Angela Sandoval returned to the department with prior service as the city’s first female sergeant and experience as a state investigator and U.S. Army veteran.
Each officer took the customary oath of office. After the pinning ceremony staff invited attendees to photographs and refreshments; the council paused for a 15‑minute intermission before resuming business.
No formal votes or personnel actions requiring council approval were recorded during the swearing-in portion of the meeting.
