A motion by Colleen Rhodes to approve the 09/13/2024 minutes (as amended) was seconded and approved; members also approved the 11/08/2024, 12/20/2024 and the 01/10/2025 joint Planning Commission minutes after proposed textual clarifications were entered for staff to incorporate. One member abstained from a vote where she had been absent but had listened to the recording; committee policy allows listening to recordings as a basis to vote in certain cases.
On officer elections, a motion to elect Gabe Edwards as chair carried and a separate motion to elect Rob Fox as vice chair also carried. The chair noted that one member's reappointment by the Board of Supervisors is still pending; staff said committee policy permits continued service until the Board takes action.
What happens next: staff (Sophia and planning support) will incorporate the approved edits into the official minutes and place the synthesis/differential item on a future agenda as requested by the committee.
