"This was a very, meticulous process to make sure we'd be satisfied," Hernandez said.
Separately, supervisors moved forward with state‑funded juvenile justice crime prevention grants to a set of community organizations providing job training, mentorship and reentry services. The board approved execution of seven grant agreements recommended by the Juvenile Justice Coordinating Council.
