Josh Huddleston and Tyler Pugh described program targets and financing: the collaborative has seed commitments (Dixie Fire Collaborative, Almanor Foundation and North Valley Community Foundation) totaling about $500,000 and aims to raise roughly $5,000,000 to create 45 units across 15 sites over three years. The presenters also said the housing council will coordinate existing programs such as down‑payment assistance and emphasized marketing and cross‑agency collaboration to bring programs together.
The steering committee also approved a grant for Indian Valley Parks & Recreation and a school‑based fitness and arts facility. Board members thanked presenters and suggested the county consider a holistic discussion to align programs and funds.
