Commissioner Corona recorded a "No" vote; the motion passed on roll call.
Officers and committees: Commissioners nominated and voted to keep the current Chair Vargas and current Vice Chair in place for 2025; the motion carried on roll call. The Commission also reviewed committee rosters, noted a vacancy on the legislative committee, and approved adding Commissioner Manuel Perez to the legislative committee (and maintained administrative committee assignments). Staff said it maintains a database of general managers and clerks for special districts and that LAFCO’s website links to each district’s site; commissioners asked staff to provide a compiled list and discussed using an intern or contractor for periodic updates.
