Staff told the commission that the extension of time number 1 for Tract 36784 grants a three‑year extension to the original expiration date, moving it to April 27, 2027. Staff added that “Assembly Bill 2,729 … grants an 18 month extension to any housing entitlement issued before 01/01/2024 and that would expire before 12/31/2025,” which staff said would make the new expiration Oct. 27, 2028.
A commissioner moved to approve the consent calendar “with modifications as presented by the staff,” the motion was seconded and the chair announced the consent calendar was approved as presented. Because the item was moved onto consent, the commission did not hold a public hearing on the extension.
The staff presentation did not discuss implementing project details; any future subdivision or other implementing application would require subsequent entitlement steps such as a tentative tract map, technical studies and CEQA review if relevant. The action recorded at the meeting was approval of the consent calendar amendment and the corrected expiration date for Tract 36784.
