Council unanimously adopts investment and local-improvement measures, approves two ordinances

Ordinance 64-85 (temporary speed zone): Council adopted Ordinance 64-85 establishing a temporary 30 mph speed zone on NE Amber Glen Parkway from NE Wilkins Street to NE Cornell Road until ODOT completes a speed zone investigation. The motion passed unanimously (mover: Pace; second: Martin).
Resolution 28-56 (South Hillsboro LID assessment): Under new business council adopted Resolution 28-56 apportioning the South Hillsboro local improvement district special assessment for the Reeds Crossing Area 1 development; the motion passed by unanimous roll call (mover: Pace; second: Martin).
Record of votes: For each of the four formal actions listed above the roll call showed unanimous "Aye" votes from Mayor Calloway and all council members present; no recorded "No," "Abstain" or "Recused" votes were noted in the proceedings.
