BZA elects officers, accepts continuance for Unionville Brewing Company hearing

Members nominated and elected Andy Hutch as chairman and elected Bridal as vice chairman; Susan was appointed secretary (nominations and voice votes reported during the opening minutes).
On substantive business the board accepted a joint request from the applicant in APP 202400276 (Unionville Brewing Company, represented on the record by R.T. Williams on behalf of Jason Tenstep) to continue the public hearing while the applicant works through the Special Use Permit process. The continuance was moved, seconded and approved by the board.
The chair then moved on to other docket items and scheduled public hearings; the meeting later heard a separate appeal (APP 202400277) concerning a Notice of Violation for a Spotswood Trail property. The board adjourned after completing the evening’s agenda.
