The Board for Licensing Contractors approved two reciprocity agreements and adopted its 2025 meeting calendar at the Nov. 19 meeting.

Staff said Alabama's HVAC board asked to establish a reciprocity arrangement for HVAC licensure and that a clerical issue regarding residential HVAC language had been corrected. The board voted to accept the Alabama and Mississippi reciprocity agreements as presented.

Board members then approved a list of 2025 meeting dates that largely mirror the 2024 schedule, including a West Tennessee meeting in May and an East Tennessee meeting in September. Staff will circulate the approved dates to members' calendars.
