Council discussed the foundation's activities and the economic and cultural benefits of Glencoe and the Mary Draper Ingalls program. The mayor described field-of-honor and other programs that drive visitation and community involvement. The council then moved to approve the MOU increase from $15,000 to $17,000; the motion passed by voice vote.
Gardner and foundation members highlighted a plan for expanded programming and a stair-lift installation funded by the Commonwealth grant; council asked the foundation to continue reporting on outcomes and thanked volunteers and partners.
