The board adopted a resolution recognizing Pamela (Pam) Ritter for her leadership in advancing fundraising and philanthropic efforts at East Tennessee State University.

President Noland outlined Ritter's accomplishments, saying her tenure professionalized advancement services, generated record-breaking fundraising years and supported the university's capital projects. "Over the course of Pam's tenure, she has changed the way in which advancement services at this institution are run," Noland said.

Pam Ritter addressed the trustees, thanked colleagues and confirmed she will retire and remain in Tennessee. She highlighted building the team, record fundraising years and the impact of the foundation board. The board moved, seconded and adopted the resolution by voice vote.

The resolution was adopted as presented; trustees expressed appreciation and no further action was recorded.
