Mr. Lambert, presenting the item, explained that inspections and abatement warrants were issued by the Lake County Superior Court, that code enforcement staff completed the abatements and that property owners were invoiced but failed to remit payment. He said the staff report contained a clerical error: the expense for Property Number 5 should read $1,502.06, which was corrected in the resolution.
Councilman Grama moved to approve the amended resolution confirming the assessments and approving liens for the listed properties; Councilwoman Overton seconded. The motion passed with a unanimous aye vote.
The council closed the hearing and directed staff to proceed with the administrative process to record liens consistent with the Clear Lake Municipal Code.
