The Planning Commission on June 19 approved a three‑year discretionary time extension for the previously approved tentative parcel map at 219 E. 8th Street to give the applicant time to process improvement plans and record the final map.
Staff said the original tentative subdivision, approved May 24, 2022 under Resolution 2022‑130, divides about 0.98 acres into four residential parcels averaging roughly 8,200 square feet. The applicant requested a three‑year extension to accommodate processing of improvement plans and satisfaction of conditions of approval; staff noted the Lincoln Municipal Code allows up to six years of discretionary extensions overall.
Commissioners asked a few clarifying questions about site features and alley presence. There was no public comment. The commission voted by roll call to approve the three‑year extension; staff will continue processing the final map through Development Engineering and subsequent permit stages.
If the final map is still in process when the extension expires (2027), the applicant may request another three‑year extension under the municipal code.
