The Lincoln City Council presented a proclamation recognizing the fifth anniversary of the Adopt a Creek program and thanked volunteers and partner organizations for environmental stewardship and work supporting unsheltered residents.
Mayor Carl Skint read the proclamation noting the program’s goals of community engagement and stated accomplishments including volunteer mobilization and trash removal; the proclamation encouraged continued participation by residents, organizations and businesses. Volunteers came forward to receive the certificate and take photographs.
