Crockett council hires Powell Law Group for redistricting; approves board reappointments and routine invoices

The Crockett City Council approved hiring Powell Law Group to assist with demographic analysis and any necessary redistricting of precinct boundaries following the 2020 census and related litigation. Council moved and seconded those reappointments and approved them in the meeting record.
Finally, the council approved payment of invoices from the Crockett Economic and Industrial Development Corporation; the motion to approve invoices was moved, seconded and the chair announced the motion carries. The meeting adjourned after that action.
