Committee votes to add review of June county-board exchange to September agenda

Committee members debated whether this committee has authority to act and whether review should be handled at the county-board level. Corporation Counsel (Joe) clarified that the committee may place the item on its agenda to review the video, but that compensation rules for virtual attendance are set by the county board and cannot be superseded by the committee.
Following discussion, a motion to add Kelly’s requested review to the September agenda was made and seconded. The chair called a roll-call vote; members recorded 'yes' votes and the motion carried. The committee established that the September item will include a review of the June 18 video and subsequent discussion; no disciplinary action was taken at this meeting.
