Resident reports hateful stickers; city says police investigating and volunteers removing materials

A community member told the Lock Haven City Council on July 15 that hateful propaganda had appeared in public spaces and asked what the city was doing to remove it and prevent further incidents.
"Is the city taking any action for the removal of these items to prevent it in the future?" asked Joshua Hudson during public comment. Council members replied that police are investigating the incident and that volunteers and staff have been surveying downtown and nearby neighborhoods to remove stickers and search for camera footage.
Councilors described walking downtown and checking neighborhoods where stickers were reported. The city said the first report came in at about 11 a.m. on Friday and that officers had been in contact with downtown businesses to request any camera recordings that might show who placed the materials.
No arrests or named suspects were reported at the meeting. Council and staff encouraged residents with information or surveillance footage to share it with police, and volunteers were credited for initial cleanup work.
