Staff and the applicant said a rear perimeter retaining wall is proposed, that the excavation stopped when the wall exceeded the planned 4-foot height, and that a building permit and structural engineer sign-off will be required.
A motion to approve the Taylor accessory-building CUP "subject to the findings of fact, conclusions of law, and conditions of approval" passed unanimously by voice vote.
Next steps: the applicant must obtain building permits for the retaining wall and finalize structural-engineer documentation as part of permit compliance before construction proceeds.
