At its Nov. 21 meeting the Eastern Summit County Planning Commission approved a conditional use permit (CUP) for the Carson accessory building and handled a continuation on a separate warehousing CUP.
On the Carson Accessory Building (moved up on the agenda), a commissioner moved approval "according to the findings of fact, conclusions of law, and conditions of approval stated in this matter." A second was given and the chair announced the motion carried unanimously.
Earlier the commission addressed a continuation for a conditional use permit for warehousing and commercial storage at 2135 South East in Wanship (listed as a continuation to a date certain). The chair noted the item and the commission recorded the procedural action with one recusal noted on the record and otherwise unanimous assent from voting members.
No substantial public comment was recorded for the Carson CUP at the time it was heard; the record shows standard staff review and that service providers had no negative comments on the Carlson matter. Both actions will proceed under standard permitting follow‑up with community development staff.
