Summit County previews climate‑and‑health speaker series event focused on agriculture and drought

Presenters named for the event include Colby Pace, Craig McKnight, Leah Trapp (USDA) and Greg Simmons; Elizabeth Cohen and Haley Davis from the Summit County USU Extension Office will moderate the panel.
Clinton said the series relies on both larger events and smaller focus groups to gather qualitative insights that will be used alongside the assessment’s survey data. “Part of what we hope to do with the feedback we received ... is use that in the community health assessment,” she said.
The department reported 72 registrations for the upcoming event at the time of the meeting and noted there is no virtual option; attendees who register but cannot attend will receive a post‑event email recap and links to resources.
