COG approves prior meeting minutes, schedules council briefings and sets next meeting
Summary
After the EMS discussion the COG approved minutes from March and June, scheduled an Aug. 28 council work session for staff briefings, and set the next COG meeting for Sept. 19; the meeting adjourned by voice vote.
Summit County Council of Governments members approved the minutes of the March 21 and June 20, 2023 COG meetings by voice vote July 17. The June minutes were approved with recorded abstentions by members who did not attend the earlier meeting.
The COG agreed to staff offers to brief individual municipal councils and accepted a work session slot for Aug. 28 at 6:00 p.m. for further EMS discussion and community messaging. Members set the next regular COG meeting for Sept. 19.
A motion to adjourn carried by voice vote, and the meeting ended after routine community updates from mayors about local infrastructure and water projects.
