Sudbury health department reports pertussis case, pursues grants for opioid recovery and food‑safety work

The Town of Sudbury health department reported a pertussis case at Haines Middle School, described local outbreaks of walking pneumonia and hand‑foot‑and‑mouth, announced two regional hires and several grant applications — including a $128,000 RISE regional request and an Emerson/Christine Gallery community‑benefit effort for opioid recovery storytelling.
