Organizers said they received positive national and regional press coverage and plan to confirm dates for the seventh edition early to coordinate regional scheduling.
Council members praised the festival’s growth and the staff follow-up reporting of metrics. Staff recommended the council "receive and file" the report, which the council accepted.
Organizers noted logistical lessons for future years, including scheduling and venue capacity planning to accommodate growing attendance and filmmaker needs. They also said more advance notice of dates helps partners and visiting filmmakers make travel arrangements.
