Sheriff and fire district report: festival coverage, incident stats, and burn-ban update

The fire district representative reported 309 total responses for the district and 98 responses within Loomis, including 57 EMS responses and two mutual-aid fires; the district’s 90th-percentile response time was presented as about eight minutes and officials expected to lift the Cal Fire burn ban on Oct. 13 with permit requirements thereafter.
Council members thanked agency staff for public-safety work at community events. No policy or budget actions resulted from the reports.
What’s next: Deputies and fire staff will provide follow-up materials (charts) at a future meeting on request; the burn ban lifting will be coordinated with Cal Fire and air-pollution authorities.
