At a public hearing, district staff presented the 500+ page Texas Academic Performance Report (TAPR) covering STAAR results, graduation and CCMR metrics; the district said the 2024 A–F accountability rating remains pending and posted the report online after the meeting.
Frenship ISD trustees opened a public hearing to review the district's annual report, which includes the Texas Academic Performance Report (TAPR) compiled by the Texas Education Agency (TEA).
Mrs. Scroop, who presented the document, told the board the report (more than 500 pages) covers STAAR participation and performance, student growth and accelerated‑learning measures, attendance, graduation and dropout rates for the 2022–23 school year, staff demographic information, and PEIMS financial reports. "This report will be posted on our website after this presentation," she said.
Scroop emphasized that the district's 2024 A–F accountability rating remained pending under the 2024 rule changes and that certain campus accreditation and accountability items were subject to state release. The report also includes College, Career and Military Readiness (CCMR) data — TSIA and SAT results — and postsecondary enrollment details compiled by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board.
The board called for public comment; no members of the public signed up to speak during the hearing. Trustees thanked Mrs. Scroop for the work required to assemble the report and noted that staff and campus leaders use TAPR data to set improvement goals.
The public hearing concluded without questions from attendees, and the report was made available online for public review.
