Planning staff said the process on the record is to present the section-line vacation and relocation at a future meeting before bringing a final plat, and that the preliminary plat’s approval is contingent on those steps. Commissioners voted to approve the preliminary plat; the clerk announced the motion carried 4–0.
No final plat approval or section-line vacation decision was made at this meeting; staff said the vacation will be considered separately at the next meeting and that if the vacate request is denied, the preliminary plat would not proceed.
