Attorney Michael Strand, representing the business, told commissioners he identified and corrected an internal bookkeeping/system error that caused the late filing and apologized for the inconvenience. Commissioner discussion noted frustration with recurring late filings at year‑end and urged license holders and their representatives to comply with deadlines.
A motion to approve the license passed by voice vote; one commissioner voiced concern about habitual late filers but the board carried the renewal for this applicant.
