Pratt County commission approves engineering contracts, personnel hires and equipment purchases; adopts rent-credit resolution

Rent-credit resolution: The board adopted Resolution O 9 30 24 authorizing a rent credit for the period 10/01/2024 to 09/30/2025. The resolution and minutes will be signed and sealed as part of the record.
Personnel and service authorizations: The county approved hiring Craig Roberts as a part-time driver (10 hours). Commissioners also authorized hiring a service agency to pursue tax-foreclosure matters with a cap of $1,000.
Equipment purchases: Pratt County Fire & Rescue requested replacement tires for two rescue vehicles due to age and wear. The county approved purchase of two sets of tires to be paid from the special equipment fund.
Meeting minutes: Commissioners approved the minutes from 09/23/2024 by voice vote.
Executive sessions: The board held two brief executive sessions (one for attorney–client privilege on tax foreclosure and one for non-elected personnel); on each return the board announced no action taken except those specifically authorized in open session (the $1,000 cap for outside foreclosure service was approved in open session).
