Community health needs: Staff reiterated the top four survey priorities to be carried into the improvement plan: affordable, safe housing; access to primary‑care providers for new patients; economic viability/cost of living; and radiation/dialysis services since local dialysis was closed in recent years. The improvement plan will be developed once the contracted consultant returns July 11.
Commissioners asked for documentation about ARPA encumbrances and for staff to return with any federal reporting evidence that shows how the funds were committed. Staff also said that grant awards and signature pages will be completed once the state finalizes allocations.
