MAYSVILLE — Mason County Fiscal Court on Oct. 15 approved a contractor’s bid to expand and reroof the back kennels at the Mason County Animal Shelter and endorsed plans to use proceeds from an upcoming Jordan’s Way fundraiser to help pay for the project.
Interim shelter director Brandy Thomas delivered the September operations report, saying 55 dogs left the shelter during the month, including 21 adoptions and 29 rescues, and that the shelter recorded no euthanasias in September.
