Pratt County commissioners completed routine administrative business, approving minutes and several personnel measures while holding two brief executive sessions that resulted in no action.
The commission voted to approve minutes from the Sept. 30 and Oct. 7 meetings. A motion to raise an employee who had completed six months’ service (identified in discussion as Tashana) by $0.50 an hour to $16.50 passed after a motion and second; the employee will be asked to sign required paperwork.
Later the commission voted to hire Jaden Bell as a part‑time jail employee at $15 per hour after a motion and second. Commissioners also voted to pay vouchers as presented.
Two separate 10‑minute executive sessions were held: one for attorney–client matters and another to discuss non‑elective personnel. In both cases the commission reconvened and stated that no action was taken following the sessions.
There were no recorded dissenting votes in these actions. The meeting included other operational items and informal facility and maintenance discussion; no additional personnel or disciplinary actions were disclosed.
