Mason County honors extension agent Matthew Tab Campbell for 27 years of service

Maysville, Ky. — Mason County Fiscal Court on July 9 recognized Matthew Tab Campbell for 27 years of service as a county extension agent.
Campbell, introduced by the court alongside Steve Clary, was presented with a certificate of appreciation and invited to a public gathering at the extension office later in July. "It was a hard decision for us to go that direction for sure," Campbell said of his decision to accept a new role with the University of Kentucky as a pesticide-safety coordinator. He added he plans to continue residing in Mason County and will commute to the new office.
County leaders thanked Campbell for his service and encouraged the community to attend the extension office event to wish him well.
