Staff agreed to change wording so all costs listed will be billed at actual cost and to correct repeated clerical text that mistakenly read "Wasatch Heber City" instead of "Wasatch County." Council also discussed vehicle leasing and confirmed the preferred approach is for Heber City to lease vehicles and provide invoices, with indemnity language to protect Midway.
Councilmember (S4) moved to approve Resolution 2024‑28 with the corrections discussed and to authorize the mayor to sign; the motion passed on a roll call. Staff said corrected documents will be circulated to Heber for re‑signature if required. The agreement includes provision for periodic department reports to council and the establishment of a local office space for officers to use when on duty in Midway.
