Dinwiddie staff to present short‑term rental ordinance draft at joint November workshop

The county will hold a joint workshop with the Board of Supervisors in November (a workshop beginning at 4:00 p.m., dinner, then regular meeting/public hearings at 7:00 p.m.) and staff will circulate the draft ordinance and related materials in advance. The workshop is intended to allow commissioners and supervisors to discuss permitting and operational standards before the public‑hearing process.
Staff asked commissioners to review the draft materials ahead of the workshop; no formal action was taken at the Oct. 9 meeting.
