Dinwiddie supervisors adopt updated county seal with navy outer band and 'Established 1752'

County staff said the outer band and color change were chosen to refresh the mark while preserving the core historical elements the board wanted to keep. The board discussed cost and implementation and staff said any replacement of seals on vehicles, signage and printed materials will be phased in as items are replaced to minimize immediate expense. The ordinance to amend the seal was adopted by unanimous roll call.
